What is a registered office address?
It is the official UK address filed at Companies House where statutory mail from HMRC, Companies House and UK courts is served. It appears on the public register. Every UK company must have one.
Can I use my home address as the registered office?
You can if your home is in the UK, but we advise against it. The registered office is public and receives HMRC mail — using a professional London address is more credible with banks and protects your privacy.
Is a PO Box allowed?
A PO Box is only acceptable if the full physical address is disclosed alongside it. In practice a proper serviced address is stronger for banking and payment provider onboarding.
